aspx returning malformed xml with Ultidev pro

I have an simple aspx page returning a string as a response.
when used with ultidev pro a 0 is appendend at the string's end.
Old Cassini and IIS are returning the correct string without the 0

If converted into an ashx page ultidev pro returns the correct string wihout the ending 0

Any idea?

Hi,

If you could use Fiddler tool to capture the request and response, and post it here, we may be able to help. Generally, response ending in 0 may indicate chunked/unbuffered response, which your client should be able to read as a stream without relying on Content-Length header value. But again, we'd need to see the response - headers and content to help you understand the difference.

After your response about the content length, changing the response and specifying the string Content-Length worked resolving the issue.
