Is it possible to use Ajax and Cassini. If so, any examples would be helpful.

Asolutely. As any other pure-breed ASP.NET technology, AJAX works with UltiDev Cassini just fine. Sample C#/Framework 1.1 ASP.NET Ajax application can be downloaded from here and registered with UltiDev Cassini Server.
